The dodgy Chinese software StoneBase copied not just the stones used in Moyo Go, it also ripped the studio-recorded sounds by Blake Haber, and the board texture itself.
This is not very nice, but it was to be expected, sooner or later.
It is flattering, in a way. StoneBase even uses the same software as I do to make screen images for the Help file.
StoneBase did a bad copy job. Stone thickness/intensity/shadows are non-configurable, there is no 3D board, only two stone sounds, no board skinning, no drag & drop support, etc. A lousy imitation at best.
And as soon as I figure out who made it (for obvious reasons, the dude doesn't publish his name and address), I will file a Copyright infringement claim with his local Chinese authorities.
